International Program

 

Asialink’s Education program, the Asia Education Foundation (AEF), provides educators with opportunities to participate in a range of in-country professional learning program including study tours, exchanges, international conferences and intensive in-country training.

Since 1993 over 2,500 educators have taken part in these programs in Australia, China, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Nepal, The Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

International program includes:

  • Access Asia Study Tours are in-country professional learning programs for Australian teachers to Asia.

  • Teacher Exchanges and School Linkages are reciprocal hosting programs based on forming sister school partnerships through online collaboration.

  • Linking Latitudes is an international conference and field trip program for Australian educators held triennially in the Asian region. Linking Latitudes India was held in October 2007.

  • Endeavour Language Teacher Fellowships provide intensive language and culture programs for Australian language educators.

  • The Australia-Indonesia BRIDGE Project aims to increase knowledge and understanding between the two countries through school-to-school partnerships linking students.
