State and Territory Programmes

The School Education programme works in partnership with education authorities in each State and Territory. More than 3,000 primary and secondary schools from outback Queensland to Sydney’s inner west, are linked by a commitment to provide their students with knowledge and understanding of the countries and peoples of Asia.

A Studies of Asia Advisor is located in the Department of Education in each State and Territory to support the work of schools in this area. Schools and teachers participate in local and electronic networks, professional learning programmes and have access to high quality curriculum materials.

More information about State and Territory programmes, contact the local Studies of Asia Advisor from the Asia Education Foundation’s website.
