A Melbourne response to crisis in Japan
MELBOURNE, 12 April 2011 – In this video Dr Claire Maree gives a personal account of her connection to Japan immediately following the recent earthquake, at a public forum hosted by Asialink – Asia Society and the Asia Institute.
Dr Maree is a long-time Japanese resident and recently became a lecturer at the University of Melbourne’s Asia Institute. In this address she comments on the vital role played by communication technologies in the wake of the disaster.
