11th Venice Architecture Biennale: Abundant Australia
Asialink in partnership with the Australian Institute of Architects presents Abundant Australia: highlights from the 11th Venice Architecture Biennale, an exhibition featuring over 140 architectural models from prominent Australian architects.
The models selected were recently presented at the internationally acclaimed Venice architecture exhibition in the Australian Pavilion. Abundant Australia reveals a diverse range of styles and concepts key to Australian architecture and is testament to the richness and capacity of both Australia’s current architectural practice and its formative history.
Abundant Australia is a unique exhibition that reflects our diverse landscape, occupied by cities, towns, deserts and creative individuals determined to build a better nation. In presenting Abundant Australia, Asialink is committed to fostering a greater understanding of Australian architectural practice on an international scale. This exhibition will build stronger links between Australian and Asian architects, students, design curators and festival presenters.
