Asia Literacy - whose responsibility is it?
SYDNEY, 16 May 2011 – Asia Literacy is not just the responsibility of state and federal governments, but a larger mobilisation across Australia, said Kathe Kirby, Executive Director, Asia Education Foundation on day one of the 2011 AEF Summit
“Responsibility for Asia Literacy is core business for schools, for classroom teachers, for school leaders, for parents and educators all committed to equipping our young people with the knowledge, skills and understandings that will enable them to harness the opportunities of the 21st century”, she said.
