This address was part of the panel discussion and forum - International Student Security - where to now for international students in Australia? Dr Helen Forbes-Mewett Sociology is an author of the recently released book of the same name. She is a senior lecturer in the sociology department at LaTrobe University, Melbourne. In this address she discusses findings from the book, on international student finance, work, housing, personal safety and crime. She also reads many of the contributions received from interviewed students.
This forum took place prior to the launch of the book International Student Security, which exposes opportunity, difficulty, danger and courage on a massive scale in the global student market.
