Opposition Leader The Hon. Tony Abbott addresses the Asialink-Asia Society National Forum
The Hon. Tony Abbott has highlighted the achievements of the former coalition government in advancing practical engagement with the Asian region in a speech delivered at the Asialink-Asia Society National Forum in Canberra on Tuesday 25 May 2010.
"The Coalition Government achieved a level of intimacy and regional access that Paul Keeting could only have dreamt of", he said.
The Forum has brought together 120 prominent leaders in Australia's engagement with Asia, at Parliament House, Canberra.
