Pakistan - Between Despair and Disaster
11 November - Melbourne - Journalist Mustafa Qadri has presented a solemn outlook for security in Pakistan following this year’s devastating floods, in a panel discussion at Asialink - Asia Society AustralAsia Centre.
In this video Qadri charts the recent political and military history of Pakistan and gives his assessment of today’s complex situation.
“Pakistan needs help with the floods, regardless of what all the other issues are”, he says.
Mustafa Qadri is based in Pakistan where he writes for international newspapers, journals and web-based news outlets.
